First held in 1995, the E3Expo is the world's largest trade event exclusively dedicated to showcasing interactive entertainment and educational software. According to a recent survey by Exhibit Surveys Inc., E3Expo has the largest percent of attendees who plan to purchase products exhibited at the show.
To meet the demands of hundreds of thousands of game enthusiasts from around the globe, Cramer produced a highly interactive, content-rich website - E3Insider.com. The development of E3Insider.com enabled consumers to experience the show through video, photographs and original content. In addition to welcoming Blockbuster, Mountain Dew, and Google as sponsors, several new site features were developed including: Fan Cam, photos, and video news shows. In less than 5 days, the site logged more than 600,000 unique users and 10 million page views!
Within the first hour of launching in 2003, E3 knew E3Insider was a tremendously successful channel through which exhibitors could leverage their trade show investment and extend their reach beyond the trade insiders and out to the vast consumer audience. E3Insider has continued to deliver innovative features over the past few years including: expanded coverage, a “Featured Exhibitor” section housing all the coverage for each specific on its own page, and an enhanced newsroom section offering a one-stop-shop for all show and exhibitor news.
